Increasing complexity and automation have created more opportunities, better efficiency and more productivity in industry, manufacturing and critical infrastructure, among others. Especially as, with the introduction of the Internet Of Things (IOT), much more information about machines and processes is available with which, for example, preventive failures can be prevented. This automation and connection is based on data.

The more data and connected machines circulate in a company, the greater the risk of cybercrime. Think of cyber-attacks, phishing, identity theft, ransomware, crypto mining and even CAAS (Cybercrime As A Service). Risks you need to arm yourself against to ensure the continuity of the (production) process.

In addition, the EU Cybersecurity Act is of increasing importance to be able to demonstrate that all necessary measures have been taken against potential cyber threats. This is even mandatory in vital infrastructure. Hackers are increasingly shifting their activities to industry and infrastructure. As a result, the need to secure your assets is increasing.

During this training, the most important facets of the IEC 62443 standard are discussed, and you learn to apply the acquired knowledge and skills. The training teaches you in a pragmatic way to increase OT Security based on the IEC 62443 cybersecurity standard for IACS (Industrial Automation & Control Systems).

During this two-day training course, you will become familiar with relevant cybersecurity terminology and develop a solid foundation for managing cybersecurity within your own organization.
