This can be done by using certification logos. These logos can be used on, for example, correspondence, advertisements, promotional materials, walls, doors, windows, exhibition stands and social media. Please note, the expression may not be misleading and may not be applied to products.<\/p>\n<p>Certification logos are issued when the <a href=\"https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/en\/docs\/initial-audit-stage-2\/\">initial certification audit<\/a> has been successfully completed. The validity period of the logos is linked to the <a href=\"https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/en\/docs\/certification-cycle\/\">validity period of the certificate<\/a> that is issued.<\/p>\n<p>When Brand Compliance is <a href=\"https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/en\/certification-body\/accreditations\/\">accredited<\/a> by the Accreditation Council (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rva.nl\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RvA<\/a>) for the relevant standard for which the certification has been performed, the certification logos will be supplemented with the RvA accreditation mark. This shows that the certification has been performed under accreditation.<\/p>\n<h2>What rules apply when using a certification logo?<\/h2>\n<p>There are several rules associated with how a Brand Compliance certification logo should be used:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Black or in color, but always on a white background;<\/li>\n<li>Is there no option other than a colored background? Then the logo must be white (we supply the white logo on a transparent background);<\/li>\n<li>The logo must be at least 50 mm wide;<\/li>\n<li>All numbers and letters in the logo must be legible;<\/li>\n<li>When enlarging the logo, the space between the characters should be increased proportionally;<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rva.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/BR001-UK-v1.0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RvA accreditation mark<\/a> may only be used if Brand Compliance has a valid accreditation for the relevant standard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Examples of valid Brand Compliance certification logos:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14041 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/certificationlogo-1.png\" alt=\"Example of a valid Brand Compliance certification logo for ISO 9001\" width=\"651\" height=\"298\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/certificationlogo-1.png 651w, https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/certificationlogo-1-300x137.png 300w, https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/certificationlogo-1-600x275.png 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 651px) 100vw, 651px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Examples of logo variations that are not allowed:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14021 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/zo-niet-logo1.png\" alt=\"Example of prohibited use of a Brand Compliance certification logo\" width=\"506\" height=\"104\" srcset=\"https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/zo-niet-logo1.png 506w, https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/zo-niet-logo1-300x62.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 506px) 100vw, 506px\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14024 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/zo-niet-logo2.png\" alt=\"Example of a prohibited modification to a Brand Compliance certification logo\" width=\"191\" height=\"116\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>What rules apply when using a NEN logo?<\/h2>\n<p>Additional rules apply to NEN logos. For example, a NEN logo may only be used if the name and logo of the certified organization are also used and the NEN logo may not be more conspicuous than the logo of the organization.<\/p>\n<h2>Can a certified organization use the ISO logo?<\/h2>\n<p>Note: ISO only allows the use of an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iso.org\/iso-name-and-logo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ISO logo<\/a>\u00a0by ISO itself, ISO members and ISO technical committees. This means that an organization that is certified for an ISO standard by a certification body, such as Brand Compliance, may <strong><u>not<\/u> <\/strong>use ISO logos to show that it is certified.
