We previously achieved accreditation for ISO 9001<\/a> (TA 33 + 35), ISO 27001<\/a> and NEN 7510<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We are pleased to add ISO 27701, <\/a>to be able to serve you even better.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What does accreditation actually mean?<\/h2>\n

In the Netherlands, the Accreditation Council (RvA)<\/a> is the national accreditation body.<\/span><\/span> The work of the RvA consists of expert, impartial and independent supervision of certifying bodies, such as Brand Compliance.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The RvA determines whether a certifying body meets the requirements.<\/span><\/span> In that case, the institution receives so-called accreditation.<\/span><\/span> The RvA then continues to monitor the institution periodically.<\/span><\/span> Brand Compliance may now issue ISO 27701 certificates under accreditation.<\/span><\/span> This shows you that you have a valuable certificate in your hands.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

About ISO 27701<\/h2>\n

ISO 27701<\/a> provides requirements and provides guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS).<\/span><\/span> As a so-called add-on to an Information Security Management System (ISMS), the assessment of these requirements is only possible in conjunction with the requirements of ISO 27001 and guidelines of ISO 27002.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ISO 27701 contains a clear link between an\u00a0ISMS and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)<\/a>.<\/span><\/span> By complying with this standard, you not only guarantee the security of your own information, but you also demonstrate that you actively protect the privacy of others.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
