These audit activities are based on the international standard ISO 27006. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">What is accreditation?<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Accreditation literally means: <strong>giving confidence<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">For Brand Compliance, this means that we are recognized as an expert, independent and reliable party that carries out audits based on ISO 17021-1 for management systems.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This gives our (potential) customers certainty about the quality and objectivity of our services.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Accreditation for ISO 27006 <\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><a href=\"http:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/AdobeStock_542197391-1.webp\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-25961\" src=\"http:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/AdobeStock_542197391-1.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>The accreditation for ISO 27006-1:2024, which was awarded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rva.nl\/en\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA)<\/a>, confirms that Brand Compliance fully complies with the requirements of ISO 27006-1:2024.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This standard represents the management systems and processes surrounding <strong>information security<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">With accreditation for ISO 27006, we are allowed to <a href=\"https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/en\/services\/iso-27001-certification\/\">certify ISO 27001<\/a> under accreditation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Changes <\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Brand Compliance previously complied with the 2015 version of the standard.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The standard has now undergone a transition to ISO 27006-1:2024.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This has resulted in a number of changes compared to the previous version.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">ISO 27006 basically applies to the activities and processes for the Certification Body.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">However, in this case, a number of changes also affect certified organizations for ISO 27001. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Below you will find the most important changes compared to the previous working method of Brand Compliance: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Remote audits<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Auditors are now required to indicate in their audit report to what extent audits have been carried out remotely.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">If you no longer have a physical location, this will be stated on the certificate.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Scope extension<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen you want to request a scope extension for a control audit or recertification, a minimum audit time now applies.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Your own control framework and ISO 27001 certification<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen you use your own control framework in the context of ISO 27001 certification, you can include this framework on your certificate if you meet the requirements.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have any additional questions, please feel free to <a href=\"https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/en\/contact\/\">contact<\/a> us!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brand Compliance achieved accreditation for ISO 27006-1:2024 on December 4, 2024 for its audit activities for ISO 27001.
