Dit rapport is bedoeld voor serviceorganisaties die willen aantonen dat zij informatiebeveiliging, beschikbaarheid, vertrouwelijkheid, verwerkingsintegriteit en privacy op een beheerste manier hebben ingericht.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SOC 2 is vooral relevant voor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IT- en cloudserviceproviders<\/li>\n<li>Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-bedrijven<\/li>\n<li>hosting- en datacenters<\/li>\n<li>organisaties die klantdata verwerken<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Trust Service Criteria<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Een SOC 2-rapport is gebaseerd op de zogeheten Trust Services Criteria. Dit zijn beoordelingscriteria voor de betrouwbaarheid van systemen en processen.<\/p>\n<p>De vijf criteria zijn:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Beveiliging<br \/>\n<\/strong>Bescherming tegen ongeautoriseerde toegang tot systemen en gegevens;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Beschikbaarheid<br \/>\n<\/strong>Waarborging dat systemen beschikbaar zijn en dat informatie toegankelijk is voor de gebruiker;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Verwerkingsintegriteit<br \/>\n<\/strong>Garanderen dat de gegevensverwerking compleet, geldig, nauwkeurig, tijdig en geautoriseerd is;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vertrouwelijkheid<br \/>\n<\/strong>Bescherming van informatie die binnen het systeem als vertrouwelijk is gedefinieerd;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Privacy<br \/>\n<\/strong>Beheer van persoonsgegevens volgens regelgeving zoals de <a href=\"https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/diensten\/avg\/\">AVG<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Ook binnen SOC 2 wordt onderscheid gemaakt tussen Type I en Type II.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Soorten SOC-rapportages<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Naast de <a href=\"https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/diensten\/soc-2\/\">SOC 2-verklaring<\/a> bestaan er nog twee andere typen rapportages. Hieronder lichten wij de drie varianten toe:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0SOC 1 \u2013 Financi\u00eble processen en interne controles<br \/>\n<\/strong>Beoordeling van interne beheersingsmaatregelen die relevant zijn voor de financi\u00eble rapportage van klanten. Denk aan organisaties die diensten leveren zoals salarisverwerking, schadeafhandeling of financi\u00eble transacties.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>SOC 1 Type I:<\/em> Richt zich op de opzet en het bestaan van controles op een specifiek moment.<\/li>\n<li><em>SOC 1 Type II:<\/em> Onderzoekt zowel de opzet als de werking van deze maatregelen over een langere periode (meestal tussen 3 en 12 maanden).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SOC 2 \u2013 Vertrouwelijkheid en informatiebeveiliging<br \/>\n<\/strong>Evaluatie van controles op basis van de Trust Services Criteria: beveiliging, beschikbaarheid, verwerkingsintegriteit, vertrouwelijkheid en privacy. Bedoeld voor bedrijven die hun informatiebeveiliging en best practices willen aantonen richting klanten of partners. SOC 2-rapporten bevatten doorgaans gevoelige en gedetailleerde informatie en worden uitsluitend gedeeld met klanten of prospects onder geheimhouding (NDA).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>SOC 2 Type I<\/strong><br \/>\nBeoordeling van de opzet van beheersingsmaatregelen op een specifiek moment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SOC 2 Type II<\/strong><br \/>\nBeoordeling van de opzet \u00e9n werking van die maatregelen over een langere periode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SOC 3 \u2013 Openbare versie van SOC 2<br \/>\n<\/strong>Verschaft een beknopt overzicht van beveiligingsmaatregelen, gebaseerd op de Trust Services Criteria. Dit is geschikt voor organisaties die hun naleving van beveiligingsnormen publiekelijk willen aantonen, bijvoorbeeld via hun website of als marketinginstrument.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SOC 3-rapporten zijn minder gedetailleerd dan SOC 2 en bevatten geen vertrouwelijke gegevens. Hierdoor zijn ze geschikt voor brede, openbare verspreiding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Wat is het verschil tussen ISAE 3402 en SOC 2?<\/h2>\n<p>Het verschil tussen ISAE 3402 vs SOC 2 zit vooral in de doelstelling van het rapport.<\/p>\n<p>ISAE 3402 richt zich op interne beheersing van processen die impact hebben op de financi\u00eble verslaggeving van klanten. Dat geldt vooral voor organisaties die zowel financi\u00eble processen als IT-processen beheren.<\/p>\n<p>Bijvoorbeeld wanneer u:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>financi\u00eble data verwerkt in een cloudomgeving<\/li>\n<li>zowel administratieve als digitale dienstverlening levert<\/li>\n<li>verschillende typen klantvragen moet beantwoorden<\/li>\n<li>zekerheid wilt bieden over zowel financi\u00eble beheersing als informatiebeveiliging<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In dat soort gevallen kan een gecombineerd audittraject effici\u00ebnter zijn dan twee volledig losse trajecten.
