{"id":21949,"date":"2024-12-04T13:21:14","date_gmt":"2024-12-04T12:21:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/?p=21949"},"modified":"2025-07-15T16:06:27","modified_gmt":"2025-07-15T14:06:27","slug":"europees-gegevensbeschermingszegel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/nl\/nieuws\/europees-gegevensbeschermingszegel\/","title":{"rendered":"Goedkeuring Europees gegevensbeschermingszegel (AVG)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Op 3 december 2024 berichtte de EDPB in een <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edpb.europa.eu\/news\/news\/2024\/edpb-clarifies-rules-data-sharing-third-country-authorities-and-approves-eu-data_en\" rel=\"noopener\">nieuwsbericht<\/a>, dat de Board de certificeringscriteria van Brand Compliance m.b.t. verwerkingsactiviteiten door verwerkingsverantwoordelijken of verwerkers heeft goedgekeurd. De goedkeuring betekent dat deze criteria in heel Europa en als Europees gegevensbeschermingszegel van toepassing zijn.<\/p>\n<h2>Goedkeuring<\/h2>\n<p>Na een uitgebreid internationaal beoordelingsproces, heeft de European Data Protection Board (EDPB) GDPR Certification Standard and Criteria BC 5701:2024 goedgekeurd als Europees gegevensbeschermingszegel. Dit betekent dat alle toezichthouders van Europa van mening zijn dat toepassing van deze standaard leidt tot een aantoonbaar passende uitwerking van de <a href=\"https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/diensten\/avg\/\">AVG<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hierdoor kunnen Europese bedrijven, na accreditatie, ook aantonen dat ze <a href=\"https:\/\/brandcompliance.com\/product\/bc-5701-2024-en\/\">voldoen aan de AVG door zich te laten certificeren volgens deze norm<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>BC 5701<\/h2>\n<p>Ruim een jaar geleden, in oktober 2023, gaf de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens reeds goedkeuring voor de Nederlandse markt op AVG Certificeringsstandaard en -criteria BC 5701:2023.<\/p>\n<p>De 2024-versie doorloopt momenteel de aanvraag voor accreditatie bij de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rva.nl\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Raad voor Accreditatie<\/a>.
