Step-by-step plan to expand with NEN 7510 #

Below are the steps you need to take to achieve this expansion.

• Start by contacting our account manager to extend your contract to NEN 7510 certification.
• After this, we will schedule an additional audit with you. This audit requires at least an additional 0.5 man-day, but can also take more time, depending on the organization.
• We can add NEN 7510 certification during a surveillance or recertification audit.
• After the audit, our auditor prepares a report. Another competent employee of Brand Compliance reviews the report. After this, the auditor sends you the report.
• If any discrepancies are found, you must resolve them within the set timeframe. Once this is done, our auditor will nominate you for certification.
• Our certification committee then carries out an independent assessment. If it comes to the same conclusion as the auditor, your file goes to the certification decision maker.
• After the final decision of the certification decision maker, a NEN 7510 certificate is drawn up and you receive it.

What can you expect from the audit to expand with NEN 7510? At a minimum, the audit will look at the following items:

• The Statement of Applicability;
• The implementation of those controls that were previously not applicable, but are applicable according to NEN 7510;
• The scope with the associated laws and regulations;
• Internal audits carried out in accordance with the NEN 7510 standard;
• Whether, during the management review, the organization’s management determined that the management system meets the requirements of the NEN 7510 standard.
